7 Herbrand Street
Historic art deco office building by Russell Square tube station.
7-11 Herbrand Street is an office building in the Bloomsbury area of Camden. It is of particular architectural interest due to its distinctive green and white art deco styling. It was designed and built by famed London architects Wallis, Gilbert and Partners in 1931. Herbrand Street was originally commissioned by the Daimler Hire Company for its limousine operations and was comprehensively refurbished in 2000. The building is currently home to global advertising agency, McCann Erikson’s European headquarters.
